Luxaflex Duette Pleated Blinds
Luxaflex DUETTE Shades are made from a unique honeycomb cellular fabric that is not only an efficient insulator against heat and cold, but its crisp, horizontal pleats provide a very attractive, contemporary look. DUETTE Shades provide complete privacy, whilst softening the sun light to give a room a warm, gentle glow.
DUETTE Shades are suitable for difficult window shapes such as sloping, arched, dome, triangular, round or half round and bay windows. You can even use them on skylights. Some models also suit electric power and can be used with automatic or remote control systems.
DUETTE Shades are also available in a metallised blockout fabric for the ultimate in blocking heat, cold and sun light. You can even achieve total solar black out with DUETTE Shades.
Fabrics used in DUETTE Shades are made from 100% anti-static spun-bonded polyester yarn. They contain anti-static properties that will repel dust from forming on the horizontal pleats. DUETTE Shades come in 10mm and 20mm pleat widths and are avaliable in a range of fabric densities from translucent shades to opaque blockouts.
DUETTE ULTRAGLIDE Shades
A revolutionary new lifting system allows you to operate your DUETTE Shade using a single retractable cord. Raised or lowered, the cord length stays the same - well above the pathways of children and pets. The shade is lifted smoothly and effortlessly by using short strokes. With one touch, the shade lowers gently, landing softly.
DUETTE Energy Efficiency
The distinctive honeycomb pleat design traps air in the cells, creating air pockets which act as an insulator. A special white heat reflective fabric is used on the external face (window side) of the cell structure to reflect solar heat which aids the insulation process.
Translucent - light filtering
Allows soft light to brighten a room, but reduces harmful UV and heat.
Blockout - room darkening
Darkens a room and provides ultimate privacy and insulation
Transparent - view filtering
Allows vision through the fabric, but reduces UV radiation and heat transference.
Fabric treatments
Many LUXAFLEX Window Fashion fabrics are treated with SANITIZED Antimicrobial Protection to resist bacterial and fungal attack. Some LUXAFLEX Roman Shade fabrics have also been treated with TEFLON Fabric Protector to resist soiling and protect blinds from stains.
